Bernard Winskill Military Commanders Series

Bernard Winskill joined the Royal Worcester design team in 1968. His first commission was to produce the Bernard Winskill Military Commanders on horseback series.

Each large piece was assembled and painted by hand, so showing slight variations between each model.

Bernard Winskill lived in his studio near Axminster, Devon. He travelled to Worcester regularly to check the work on his models He sadly died on 6th October 1980.
