Established in October
2002, Ribble Valley Recliners Ltd is a family business
run by Jane and Richard Wood.
We now have customers
visiting from all over the country, due to our web site presence,
however some elderly customers cannot make the trip, and so
we can do a demonstration in the comfort of your own home.
The delivery boy and the Boss.
We need a bit of information, regarding the client. Generally
how tall the client is, so we can advise the correct size
of chair required.
We have quite alot
of chairs in stock, which are available for immediate delivery,
therefore determining which chairs to bring along on a demonstration
is helpful for us and the client.
Often this results
with us being able to fit the client with the perfect chair
on the first visit.
If the chair specification
requires altering, ie, different upholstery, leather, heat
and massage pads, then we can order the chair and deliver
when it is manufactured.
Chair
Types
Electric Chairs
can vary in many area's, so heres an indication of the differences
single motor - feet
up first, then the back reclines.
dual motor - independant
movement of the feet and backrest (infinate positions).
riser - includes
a lift and tilt mechanism.
Dimensions
Seat height is very
important, ranging from 16" to 20". People
want their feet to touch the floor in a seated position.
Seat depth plays
a major part as lumbar support is very important. Ranging
from 18" to 21".
Back
Type
Deep buttoned -
can be very comfortable if it fits.
Waterfall - the
fillings can be altered in each section to acheive the perfect
fit.
Arm type
Wood Knuckles -
a good confidence booster for people wanting something to
grab.
Upholsterd arms - may be more aesthetically
pleasing.

to be able to stand up from
it, but low enough to support her legs, shallow enough
to offer good back support but also gently inclined for comfort.
